McKinney, TX — August 12, 2009 — MedActTM Software today announced the appointment of Gregg Timmons as Chief Executive Officer effective immediately. Geoff Kearney, MedAct™’s previous CEO will continue to serve as the company’s chairman and manage its board of directors.

Gregg joins MedAct™ Software from BorderWare Technologies, where he led the world-wide sales, marketing and products efforts in the role of Executive Vice President. Prior to BorderWare, Mr. Timmons was the Vice President of Partner Sales and Alliances at Entrust, Inc. where he directed the partner channel sales to exponential growth. Additionally, his tenures at Netscape, SGI and Kodak bring a full breadth of large scale growth, execution and leadership skills.
