Breakthrough solution addresses the components of the Competitive Bid program for DMEPOS contract and non-contract suppliers in Round One.

In response to new reporting and notification demands placed on DMEPOS suppliers by Competitive Bidding, MedAct has responded with comprehensive tools that facilitate quick and all-inclusive responses for information, beneficiary notifications, and new reporting requirements.

The MedAct CBid Center is way to manage patients, beneficiaries and other contract suppliers according to the guidelines in the CMS Competitive Bid Program. MedAct CBid Center delivers unique visibility and management tools that enable DMEPOS Suppliers to manage their relationships with beneficiaries in a competitive bid area (CBA). With MedAct CBid Center, tasks that would have taken multiple manual steps are now automated, such as the identification and printing of Grandfathering Notification letters to beneficiaries. Included are more features that enable DMEPOS suppliers to manage beneficiaries in a competitive bid area (CBA) for referrals as they travel. Additionally, contract item categories are set at the single payer amount for accuracy to bill as a contract supplier.
